Intensive Outpatient Program
JFS was founded in 1913, and since then has been providing light, hope and help to individuals struggling with life challenges. We are proud to introduce our Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) to you, your family members and people whom you love and care about.
What is Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)?
IOP is a structured, goals-based and supportive treatment program that utilizes group therapy to help individuals improve how they cope with life challenges. IOP staff consists of master and doctoral level therapists. Treatment plans are individualized and reviewed periodically to meet individual's needs.
Who would benefit from IOP?
Adults age 18 & over who are struggling to cope with:
- Crisis(es)/transitional adjustment
- Grief/losses
- Relationship issues
- Work related stress
- Mood related symptoms
- Behavior related symptoms
- Cognition related symptoms
- Dual diagnosis symptoms
How does IOP operate?
- Total of 9 hours face to face group and individual therapy per week
- Groups meet 2 times a week
- Typical course of treatment is 4-8 weeks
